Description:

Stennis East Bank Recreation Area is operated by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and is located in Lowndes County, Mississippi on the Tennessee-Tombigbee, just off of US Highway 45, at Columbus, Mississippi. The park is adjacent to Stennis Lock and Dam. Facilities include a boat ramp, three fishing piers, a fish cleaning station, two multi-use courts, a walking track, play areas, an amphitheater and three large covered shelters. Columbus Marina is located nearby. Other single covered picnic tables with grills are also available. Gates to the area open at 6 a.m. – the boat ramp is open 24-hours.
