DESCRIPTION:Traditions\, Taste and Tunes is a meaningful Memorial Day weekend tradition in Columbus\, Mississippi\, bringing the community together for a blend of remembrance\, celebration\, and small-town charm. \nThe weekend begins Friday morning with the Placement of Flags at Sandfield Cemetery at 9:00 a.m. Following the placement of flags is a dedication of a WWI Memorial at the Lowndes County Courthouse at 11 a.m. That evening\, the Riverwalk Stage comes alive from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. with live music by Artistik Band\, creating a lively backdrop for an evening along the water. Guests can enjoy a variety of food vendors\, family-friendly kids’ activities\, and a special flyover that adds a patriotic touch to the evening’s festivities.
